Aquarius Water Service is Created

Craig originally set up a company called Aquarius Water Services in 1994, a real pioneer of the industry with only a handful of companies supplying watercoolers in 19L and 22L bottles.

At that stage, very few companies even knew what a watercooler was, so the company grew by offering new companies a 14-day free trial with no obligation.

Aquarius was born. The company went from strength to strength and was eventually sold to a French company in 2001. Craig left Aquarius in 2003 with approximately 5,000 coolers in and around Yorkshire.

Craig Rebuys Mirage Watercoolers!

After a few years working with different companies in different industries and a brief spell in his native Australia, Craig bought into Mirage Watercoolers. Subsequently, he acquired the rest of the business about 18 months later.

Mirage Watercoolers Continues Growing

During that time, the industry had polarised and was saturated with watercooler companies

Despite this, Mirage grew steadily over the years acquiring small companies along the way. Today Mirage still concentrates primarily on the Yorkshire region and has a never-ending commitment to customer service. These days, the main products for Mirage are Bottled Watercoolers, Plumbed in Watercoolers, and Hot Water Boilers maintained and serviced by staff living locally.

Mirage Watercoolers Continues To Excel

Over the last few years, the industry has changed once again where the big foreign companies have been busy acquiring smaller regional companies in the UK, leaving Mirage as one of a handful of independent regional companies left.

This has created a great opportunity for Mirage to demonstrate the value of commitment to customer service, delivery on time every time and being at the end of a telephone if required.
